What a model cannot see

A model can tell you when the odds collapsed. It cannot tell you why the move behind it was wrong.

It sees that a position was lost. It does not see who opened the fight without information, or which earlier choice made the loss unavoidable. Those are judgements, and they come from experience in the same environment.

So the model proposes and people decide. The model is useful because it narrows hours of record down to a few seconds worth a person's attention.
