## What this is

Crux is a beta product of Syntropy Cognitive, run from Warsaw, Poland. It reads a Dota 2 replay and shows which fights decided the match and what could be done differently. Contact: [support@syntropycognitive.tech](mailto:support@syntropycognitive.tech).

## Beta, no guarantees

Crux is in beta. It can be wrong, slow or unavailable. A review is an estimate made by a statistical model from the replay. It is not a fact about the game and it does not promise that you will win more. The service is provided as it is, without warranties, and as far as the law allows we are not liable for losses from using it. Rights you have as a consumer where you live stay as they are.

## Free use and Crux Pro

Free use: three analyses a day. Crux Pro costs $3.99 a month, the first week is free, and it is paid through Stripe. You can cancel at any time in your account or in the Stripe portal. After you cancel you are not charged again, and Pro stays until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not see or store your card details, Stripe does. If we change a price, we tell you before your next payment.

## Where the data comes from

Match data comes from the public OpenDota API and from replay files that Valve publishes. You can also upload a replay file you have. We never ask for your Steam password. A raw replay contains player names, so the file is deleted after processing, and the review does not keep names or Steam IDs.

## AI text

The coach text, the answers to "Explain" and the chat are written by Meta Muse, a language model, from numbers our engine computed. It can make mistakes. Check anything that matters against the match itself.

## Sharing

A public link shows one review, read only, to anyone who has the link. You make it on purpose and you can revoke it at any time; after that the link opens nothing.

## Feedback you send

Votes and short notes on parts of a review are stored without your name. We use them to check and improve the models.

## Fair use

Do not run automated bulk requests, try to break or overload the service, or use it to harass anyone. We may limit or block use that does this.

## Valve and Dota 2

Crux is not affiliated with Valve. Dota 2 is a trademark of Valve Corporation. Other names belong to their owners.

## Changes

We may update these terms while Crux is in beta. The date above changes when we do. Using Crux after that means you accept the new version.
